Suitsuit - Suitcases for travel fashionistas

The moto of Pinterest is “When it comes to a great idea, you know it when you see it”. Well, a while ago when I was browsing on Pinterest, the beautiful suitcases of the brand “SUITSUIT” caught my eye… I fell instantly in love!

SUITSUIT is founded and managed by Dutchwoman Emile Vijlbrief. “They develop suitcases from the female perspective. Their mission is to become the world’s number one brand for globetrotting fashionistas. They are passionately committed to developing suitcases, bags and other travel accessories that make a difference to how women travel, in terms of both design and functionality.”

I was enchanted by the Fab Seventies collection. “This collection is about celebrating the iconic warm, natural and earthy hues the Seventies were known for. Colors like Basil Green, Coral Cloud and Seaport Blue are combined with natural materials like canvas and linen.” The suitcase is equipped with 4 double wheels that are larger than those of most 4-wheel cases so they offer more strength. On the zipped part there are two extra storage compartments, handy for dirty laundry and shoes that you would like to pack separately from your clothes. SUITSUIT has developed matching packing cubes for everyone who wants more storage convenience. This allows you to keep all your belongings neatly separated by storing them in another packing cube. The suitcase is made of a combination of ABS and polycarbonate. The trolleys are therefore light and durable, flexible but also hard. Moreover, polycarbonate is recyclable and therefore not harmful to the environment. SUITSUIT uses YKK zippers; these are of very high quality. The TSA lock is firmly installed, so you have less chance that it breaks down. The disadvantage of the smoothness of the suitcase is the fact that you see scratches quite quickly. The advantage of the smooth surface is that you can easily polish the case.

So guess what’s under the Christmas tree for me this year … A Fab Seventies suitcase of 66cm and one of 55cm in Coral cloud, and the accompanying shopper and beauty set. I will be travelling in style in 2019, that’s for sure.
